A safety helmet for bicycle owners is definitely a necessary thing, but it is cumbersome if you put it in your bag. As a result, folding helmets began to appear in the world. One of them is the LID made by British craftsmen with a set of interesting functions.

The weight of this helmet is 410 g. It consists of three main parts – the central section and two side ones. When you remove the helmet, the side sections “dive” under the central section and are fixed there with hidden magnets. In this position, the helmet can easily fit even in a small bag or backpack. To put it on, you need to bring the side sections into the previous “working” position.

LID is made of environmentally friendly expanded polystyrene, which fully meets the European and North American safety standards. There are also holes for the ventilation of the head. In the rear part of the helmet there is a fastening for the rear light.

LID can now be purchased at Indiegogo, making a deposit of $ 70. The estimated retail price in the event that serial production is established is 140 dollars.
